Meet Dr Phillip Glover

Dr. Philip Glover graduated from Sydney University with Honours in 1981. He recently joined Progressive Dental in December 2008 after returning to Australia in March 2008. Philip had been living and practising overseas for twenty years, sixteen of which were spent in London at a private practice in elite Chelsea.

In 2003 Philip was headed home to Australia, but first went to Paris, France, and practised there for six months before being offered the opportunity of practising in the Seychelles, a breathtakingly beautiful group of islands in the Indian Ocean . He "endured" the tropical island life for four years, working at the Specialised Dental Clinic of an Endodontic, Restorative and Implant Specialist Philip had worked with in London.

Immediately on returning to Australia , Philip went to Byron Bay in the north of NSW for a six week locum at a high standard holistic practice in Brunswick Heads. This position extended to five months after which Philip returned to Sydney and accepted the position at Progressive Dental, where he could continue to maintain and improve the quality of his dentistry, striving for perfection in all aspects of treatment.

In spite of the twenty year absence, Philip considers himself a "lower North Shore boy", as he was born and bred in Waverton, schooled at Shore, practised dentistry at Neutral Bay in the early eighties, and is now resettled in Wollstonecraft.

We welcome Philip as the "new boy" with twenty-seven years experience (!), and look forward to his future contribution to the team at Progressive Dental
